A guestbook of sorts
I came in not knowing what to expect. The session on child maintenance felt more like a careful conversation than a legal appointment — my adviser listened before saying anything, and the written summary she gave me afterwards was something I kept returning to. I did not feel rushed.
The custody drafting service was thorough in a way I had not anticipated. The situation
Both parents had separated and wanted to reach a custody agreement without going to court. Their children attended different schools and had varied weekend commitments, making scheduling complicated.
What we did
We drafted a detailed custody and access arrangement covering term time, school holidays, religious celebrations, and extracurricular activity days. A family mediator was coordinated to facilitate one session where the parents worked through a point of disagreement.
